Her Challenge

Why it exists

On most dating apps, women are buried in identical openers and men are ignored for reasons they never see. Her Challenge gives both a better deal. She gets fewer, more thoughtful messages, on a topic she chose. He gets judged on what he says, not on one photo.

How it works

1. She posts a challenge. A headline, a few lines about herself, and one question or task. Her post is anonymous.
2. Men answer. Any man can read open challenges and answer one. Each challenge takes at most ten answers and stays open for 72 hours.
3. She judges blind. She reads every answer without names or photos. When one stands out, she taps Reveal to see who wrote it.
4. She accepts, or passes. Accepting creates a match and opens a chat straight away. Passing is private.

Challenges that work well

The best challenges are specific and a little playful, so the answers show personality:

• "Plan our first Saturday in Cebu with a ₱1,000 budget."
• "Tell me the ulam you cook best, and how you'd win over my lola with it."
• "Convince me your favourite Jollibee order is the correct one."
• "I'm an OFW home every December. How would you make a long-distance week feel normal?"

For men: how to write a good answer

• Answer the actual question. It is the only thing she asked for.
• Be specific. "I'd take you to Sugbo Mercado and let you pick the first stall" beats "I'd take you somewhere nice."
• Keep it short enough to read on a phone. Three or four sentences is plenty.
• Skip compliments about looks. She cannot see yours yet either.
