Delete your account and data
You can delete your Liyag account at any time, even if you no longer have the app.
From inside the app (fastest)
- Open Liyag and go to your Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
By email, if you no longer have the app
Email smewritingagency@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my Liyag account. We confirm ownership using that address and delete within 30 days, usually within 2 business days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, age, gender, location and everything else you wrote
- Every photo you uploaded, plus your verification selfie and the face scan taken from it
- Your likes, passes, blocks, matches, and Her Challenge answers
- Your phone number and its hash, so that number can be used again for a new account
Messages you already sent stay in the other person's chat, which shows that your account has been deleted.
What we keep, and why
Only records we are required to keep: transaction records for tax and accounting, and limited abuse records where an account was removed for safety reasons, so the same person cannot immediately return. These are kept no longer than the law requires.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions, or it will keep renewing.
